Spaceship in the Yard (SUBURBIA)

Skipping over waves of space, racing past the memories of stars, an alien scientist burns her interstellar engines then makes a sling shot passed Mars.  Steering toward paradise splashed valleys of emerald against rippling of shimmers of blue; she brings her intergalactic spacecraft to rest and lets her engines cool. The space ship in the yard keeps a spy armed only with a camera and intent like a dart. A chameleon observer blending in with the scene like art, she’s an alien anthropologist studying the Suburban heart.

Live Long and Prosper (SUBURBIA)

Live long and prosper my dear Trekkie heart; for the Comic-con has ended and now we two must part. Speaking Klingon to the depths of my soul you sucked me in like beam of light to toward a black hole. You beamed me up then phasered my heart and like a photon torpedo your logic ripped me apart. Shields down, warp drives out of commission, but I shall meld with you next July for another five year mission.

The Kobe Master (SUBURBIA)

Popeye had his spinach and Samson had his hair, now meet the greatest of heroes with the sausage flare! He’s lean and mean, a truly a badass, hot dog eating machine. Fed on fury with a chili and cheese punch, he’s the kung-fu master behind the most dangerous kind of lunch; heart attack, Ka POW!

Irresistable Temptation / SUBURBIA

You really shouldn’t, but I think you might; let go of your willpower and give up the fight. Take a piece and pass it around, sweet shackles of icing keep Suburbia bound. Confectionary delights whipped into feverish peaks, but after the party counting calories for weeks.

Forever Young (more Suburban Tales)

Be like me. Wake up and see.
A plastic model manufactured being all that you can be.

Suburban dreams can be gleaned through golden strands of perfection woven like silk through the spirits of their daughter’s plastic reflection.  Little girl pieces made from molds and plasticized parts but the dreams are surface deep without the beat of her fabricated heart. The rules of life are learned behind the aesthetics of fantasy replacing the disappointment of reality with the preferably fake. The Suburban girl should never grow up; never chip, disappoint, question, or break.

Ultraviolet Communion - Suburbia

The pink parasol of protection shades the Suburbanite from the harsh rays of their sun gods scolding gaze. The acolytes of the sun tan then turn bronzing themselves in ritualistic bath of light. They bronze their flesh through ultra violet communion beneath their sun gods scalding might.

We're really excited about our upcoming Paris gallery exhibit!
